What is CUET 2024?

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is an all-India entrance exam for admission to undergraduate, integrated, diploma, postgraduate, certification, and research courses. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the exam for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The CUET 2024 is for admission to various PG programs in Central and State Universities/ Institutions and participating Deemed/ Private participating Universities/ Institutions for the academic session 2024-25.

The CUET 2024 exam will include:

• Section IA & IB: Language test
• Section II: Domain-specific subject with MCQs based on the Class 12th syllabus
• Section III: General test with numerical ability, quantitative reasoning, logical and analytical reasoning, general knowledge, current affairs, and general mental ability

The CUET registration 2024 opened on February 27, 2024.

CUET 2024 Highlights

• The CUET 2024 exam will be conducted in 300 cities and will be entirely computer-based.
• The exam will be conducted in three slots per day, with a paper divided into three sections: Section IA & IB: Language test, Section II: Domain-specific subjects, and Section III: General test.

What is the Syllabus of CUET 2024?

The CUET syllabus 2024 encompasses a comprehensive range of subjects aimed at evaluating candidates’ readiness for higher education. Covering areas such as general knowledge, current affairs, mental ability, numerical and quantitative reasoning, as well as logical and analytical reasoning, the syllabus ensures a holistic assessment of students’ academic preparedness.

Additionally, the English portion of the syllabus focuses on crucial skills like reading comprehension, literary aptitude, vocabulary, and verbal ability, alongside tasks such as rearranging parts and selecting appropriate words, enhancing students’ language proficiency and communication skills. Aligned with the NCERT class 12 syllabus, It offers a familiar framework for students, facilitating focused preparation.

With the exam slated to commence from May 15, 2024, candidates are encouraged to stay updated with the official notification for any revisions to the syllabus, ensuring they are well-equipped to excel in this significant academic endeavour.

What are the eligibility criteria of CUET 2024?

CUET eligibiity criteria 2024:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks as aggregate (45% of SC/ST candidates)
• Candidates must have a relevant subject in 10+2 to apply for any respective course
• Candidates must be Indian citizens to appear for the CUET exam
• Candidates must meet the age requirement of the university to be eligible for the admission process
• For graduation degree, the grade must have been at least 55% in the general category and 50% in the SC/ST/OBC/PWD category
  

CUET Registration 2024

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to start CUET registration 2024 on February 28, 2024. The application form will be available on the official website – cuet.samarth.ac.in, throughout the first week of February 2024, and may last until the third week of March 2024.

Candidates must upload formal photographs of themselves and scanned copies of their signatures throughout the application process. If either the photograph or signature is unclear or unidentifiable, the application will be rejected without the chance for correction or amendment.

When will the CUET Admit card 2024 release?

The CUET 2024 admit card will release 10–15 days before the exam date. The admit card is available online on the CUET 2024 website, cuet.samarth.ac.in. To download the admit card, candidates can:

• Go to the CUET 2024 website
• Click the Login tab
• Enter the application number and password
• Click on “Download Admit Card”
• Download the admit card in PDF format

CUET Result and Answer Key 2024

The CUET result 2024 will be tentatively announced by the third week of July 2024 and the cuet answer key 2024 will be released in second week of July 2024 at cuet.samarth.ac.in.

CUET Counselling 2024

The CUET Counselling 2024 schedule includes three rounds. It is expected to tentatively conduct the counselling in June or July 2024. Participating universities will conduct their own counselling processes online. Candidates must register on the official website of participating universities to attend the counselling. During the counselling process, applicants will need to provide all the necessary documents for verification. These documents include educational certificates, mark sheets, birth certificates, and a copy of their passport-size photograph.
