How to Apply for HPU Entrance Exams 2024
- Go to the official website of the university.
- Click on the section named “Examinations” at the top of the page.
- You will find the registration link on the page.
- Fill the details in the registration form and click on submit.
- You will receive a confirmation e-mail on your registered email ID on which you will get your login credentials.
- Now again go back to the official website and log in to your account with your password and user ID.
- You will get links on which you want to apply the exam form. Select on the courses (UG/PG/Ph.D.).
- Fill out the exam form with accurate academic details.
- Upload the necessary scanned documents mentioned in the form.
- Now you will be directed to the payment page after submitting your documents.
- You may use Net banking/credit card/Debit Card/UPI to clear the payment fee.
- After completing the payment successfully, you will get a confirmation receipt of your successful payment. Keep a printed copy of the confirmation page till the exam.
- You will receive a confirmation mail in your registered e-mail ID on successful submission of the exam application.

Eligibility criteria to apply for the HPU entrance exam 2024
As per the previous guidelines uploaded by Himachal Pradesh University, the eligibility criteria to apply entrance exam 2024 are given below. Remember that these criteria are subject to change as per the University guidelines.
- UG Programs
Educational Qualification– Candidates must have a 10+2 certificate course from a recognized board or equivalent.
Age limit– There is no age limit specified by the university for UG programs.
- PG Programs
Educational Qualification- Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in the specified subject from a recognized university. Some subjects may require special specific eligibility criteria.
Entrance exam scores- Some subjects in PG programs may require scores in national tests such as GATE, CAT, MAT etc.
Age limit – There is no age limit specified by the university for PG programs.
- Ph.D. programs
Educational qualifications- Candidates must have a Master’s degree in the specified subject from a recognized university.

- Undergraduate programs- The entrance exam fee for UG programs ranges from INR 500-1,000 on a subject basis.

- Ph.D. programs- The entrance exam fee for Ph.D. programs ranges from INR 1,000-3,000 and more on a subject basis.
